question about beds

I'm staying at the all star movies resort in march, and my travel agent has told me they can only request seperate beds for me and my friend and not guarantee them. Does anyone know what the chances of us not getting seperate beds is, or offer any advice? Thanks.

Welcome MRD!

Disney has that clause for just about anything that is not the "norm". From beds to cribs, etc. Generally they are very good with peoples requests but it also depends on how busy they are too!:)

5,680 minutes and counting...:sohappy:

Welcome to the boards MRD :) . I have to agree with CreekWayne here. They always say that they will try to honor your request, but it is not a guarantee...but I haven't ever been disappointed. Most of the rooms are going to be two bed rooms anyhow, so I wouldn't see a problem. You are more likely to have a problem with a king bed room request, but they are more limited. Have a great vacation at WDW and a wonderful time.

You want a room with 2 beds, right?

I wouldn't sweat this one too much. The majority of rooms in every resort have 2 beds.

The figures I found are:

Movies -- 1846 rooms with 2 double beds; 74 with 1 king bed

Music -- 1824 w/ 2 doubles; 96 with 1 king

Sports -- 1824 w/ 2 doubles; 96 with 1 king

I'm not a gambler, but I like those odds of getting a 2-bed room.

I'd bet my mortgage on odds like these !!!

 I stayed at the Movies last May with my 4 yr old son and we had two full size beds in the room...I think that is pretty standard. We are going again this May :sohappy: Only 103 more days and we are just SO excited!!!!!! It is my FAVORITE place in the world and I have passed this love onto my son as well!!!!!!!!!

I am almost positive that you will get you 2 beds... just think of all the people that are going to be asking for the one king bed also so i think you odds are even better ......

This is something you do not have to worry about. I even think King Rooms cost more money (I know they do at the Moderates). So don't worry about that. Also, when you get to the front desk tell them that you need the two beds. They will do everything they can to help.
