Question about AP resort discount rates?

Do all members of a party need to have an annual pass in order to get the discount, or could you get just one and have the others get a magic your way pass and still get the AP discount?

Just one of your party(in the same room) needs the AP. Each AP member can reserve up to 3 rooms.
