This is going to be our first time going to Universal Studios but we only have 1 day to go there. If we pay the full admission price to Universal Studios and decide to add Islands of Adventure later in the day, any idea how much it will cost? Thanks!!

If I'm not mistaken it's somewhere between $29.99-36.99 per adult for the same day upgrade. Any reason why you can only do one day? They have a real good deal going on for US and Canadian Residents at the moment.

If you're doing disney on your trip and you've been there before, I'd say skip a Disney day. Uni and Islands are both worth a day of visiting each if you've never been.
It depends on how your family does parks. My parents and I did Both parks in one day with a stop at Hard Rock cafe for lunch and a look for the John Lennon Room.

You can visit any two (or three or four, lol) of the Orlando parks in a single day. Totally doable. But you won't get most of what there is to do squeezed into 1/2 of a day. You'll have to pick and choose.

If I only had one day and I could afford it,I'd hit both parks, doing the things I most wanted to do in each.

based on the current state of all Orlando parks, id save give up a Disney day and hit up both of the Uni parks, they are worth it. if you are still adiment on a one Uni day deal, get the park hopper and spend half of the day in each park.

i was big on getting a Disney AP when i lived outside of Orlando and as much as i never went to UNI, after one 2 day trip i ended up getting a UNI season pass instead and i enjoy both parks equally.
