Question About 100 Year Banners

I recently purchased a 100 year banner from www.mainstreetmegastore (the MGM one). I understand that the banner does NOT have the embedded lights. Anybody know how I could figure out how to do that? I'm guess the chances are pretty slim but it was worth a post.

I don't know if I would chance destroying it, but I would say take Christmas lights (white, etc.), and cut little holes in the middle of the stars on the banner, and put the light inside there.
