I am staying in QII in May 2008 and since booking have read alot of negative reviews. Has anyone been there recently and if so how did you find it? I am getting a bit worried - I am only looking for somewhere to get our heads down but would like it to be at least clean. Any information would be much appreciated. Thanks.

i have stayed in the hotel 2 times in the past and am going there for a 3rd time in also may 2008. i have had no problems with this hotel, it is very clean and tidy and the room service is good and the people are polite. the location is excellent to get onto the i4 and is close to eating places like mcdonalds and the golden corral.

Quality Inn International

Hi, only 4 more days to go. I am feeling a bit better about staying at the Qualtiy Inn International as I have decided not to expect too much then I won't be disappointed. After all it's only somewhere to get your head down for 2 weeks.

You will have a great time. I stayed in a terrible hotel near this one but still had a fantastic time because like you said, it's only a place to sleep and after full days in the park your just happy for a bed.

I've stayed at the International a few times and as has already been mentioned, it's a good hotel, staff are polite and it's in a very convenient location for access to the I4.

The problem for me and the reason why I now prefer the Plaza instead is that it's at the wrong side of Sand Lake Road and by that I mean the over commercialisation, the tacky shops, the booze shops and the noise level. The closer you get to the Peabody and the Convention Centre the better it seems to be. The Plaza also has good access for the I4, is set further back from I-Drive (so noise is less of an issue) and Pointe Orlando (what I really mean is Johnny Rockets and I really miss FAO Schwartz) is very close by.

If you anything like me, you will only use the hotel for sleeping and between 8am and midnight you will be busy at the parks. 10 days to go for me, can't wait. :D
