Has anyone stayed here before? They're currently offering a great rate for the dates I'll be there, and the location on South Manchester can't seem to be beat (plus they have a free breakfast). The pictures look fine, but of course they can be deceiving.

Is this an ok option? We're looking for a clean, comfortable room in a good location this trip. Not really needing anything resorty. Does this place fit the bill? I just don't want to be walking in to some roach motel...

We've stayed there on a few occassions, mainly for the combination of price and location.
The room was best imagined as a place to crash at night, only. I wouldn't want to look around the room in too much detail, but it was a place that was comfortable enough to shower, sleep, and grab a quick, free bite on the way out in the morning.
We've had varied check-in experiences ranging from about 30 seconds to about 40 minutes, with about the same number of people in the check-in area when we arrived.
Don't let me steer you wrong with my critical description - just throwing it all out there! :lookaroun
All said and done, we would probably stay there again if we were looking for a purely cheap place nearby.
(Just to put things in perspective, we're DVC members and stay in a DVC resort at least once a year in Florida, so we are familiar with how nice a resort can be. At the same time, I know what's worth the compromise when it comes to just reserving a bare-bones, cheap room!)

Whatever you do, have a great trip!

Thanks! I'm a DVC-er as well, so I too enjoy the "resort" every now and again. However, for this trip, we don't get out to the DLR very often, and I don't think we're going to be spending any time in the room beyond sleeping, showering, and getting ready in the morning. It sounds like this place provides a clean, comfortable room that will serve this purpose. Thanks!!

Nick, I'll have Laura chime in later… I've always found great rates there too, but she never lets us stay there. Apparently she had a really bad experience there once with a moldy shower and the walk to/from the parks is longer than you'd think. I dunno.  That's just one "review." Might work out just fine for you!
