Q's For Those Who Live In NYC

Okay, for my first paper in my Anthropology class, we were assigned a paper that is about "Living Arrangements in U.S. Cities". I chose New York City. I figured i'd come here and get some first-hand help from some New Yorkers...so if you want to help, thanks!

1. Do you have a car?

2. What type of apartment do you live in?

3. Do you live in the same neighborhood as you work? If not, how do you commute to work and how long is your commute?

4. Do you have children, and if so, are they in public or private school?

It's sort of stupid, but I didn't assign it! Thanks!

1. No

2. 2-bedroom apartment

3. I don't live in the same neighborhood. I commute via the subway, which normally takes me about 15-20 minutes. If I am looking for a more relaxed commute and have the time, which is rare, I will take a bus which can take about twice as long, at least.

4. No kids.
