Qs counter service dining plan question

Hey all on our last trip we paid out of pocket. This time we grabbed the quick serve dining plan as those are the places we like to eat as we're always on the go.

In the past we saw people getting the meal, drink and dessert. Is it the same, or is it just now the actual meal and a drink of some kind? ( I know signature, and or alcohol is now included) but was curious.

This confuses me as well.. what does it mean about the qs credit only. Is that the you can't use a snack credit for a drink?

Most beer, wine and mixed drink beverages included, some exceptions apply. Guests must be age 21 or older and present valid ID to be served alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages may only be redeemed with a Quick-Service meal entitlement.

The ability to order the alcoholic drink on the QS dining plan is part of your meal, and ordered as your "meal drink" when you order your meal. I don't see alcoholic beverages listed as a snack. (That doesn't bother me; I don't drink.) The only way to find out for sure is ask. We have found a number of items over the years that were classified as snacks that we would not have thought of as being a snack.
When they took away the deserts they did add a snack; two per day now rather than one. I guess they figure that makes up for the "lost" deserts. Personally I would rather have it this way. You can make a meal off some of the snacks such as the cinnamon rolls at Gaston's Tavern in MK and a number of other items in the resort food courts.

I like desserts a lot, but I'm happy to have the extra snack! I tend to use it on sweet items in the Big Top Souvenirs or on the cinnamon roll at Gaston's! :p Also, being able to use the snack whenever means you have time to let your food settle!
