Purchasing AP: How soon reserve FP+

I plan on purchasing my AP this afternoon and heading to the parks this weekend. Am I able to make FP+ choices immediately (I have numerous MBs and will link my AP to one of those)?

You should be able to make them as soon as you add the AP to your MDE account.
