Public Groups

I was looking through some profiles and noticed a section about what groups someone belongs to, yet I don't see anyone who belongs to any . Is this a feature on the horizon? Or am I just completely not getting the obvious?

Nope you arent missing anything. It's not currently in use and is reserved for future usage.
