Props & Statues - What Materials used?

Hey guys-
I am trying to find out what materials are used for various props/statues in the parks. Items like what's in ToonTown (mailboxes, couches, chairs, tvs, fire hydrants, etc). I assume they start out with either a clay or foam carving. However, I find it hard to believe that they would fiberglass each and every one of those props. That's a very time and labor intensive process, not to mention the ability to get the finish as smooth as they do.

What materials do they use to coat the finished product so that it can withstand years of abuse from kids, as well as weather?

Thanks for the help!
