Property Control Event?

Okay, I'm very curious. As I drove to work today, traffic was really backed up on Reems Road and there are signs directing CMs to park in the STOLport instead of the Magic Kingdom Cast Parking Lot due to a "Property Control Event".

Anybody know what this is?

It's apparently going to be from December 1st thru the 18th. Is the traffic going to be that bad every morning? If so I need to find an alternate route! :lol:

only for cm's currently. Then I think it is cm's and their family? not sure.

If it's the holiday sale, it's generally CM's only for the first week or so, then afterwards it's CM's and friends/family.

awwwwwwwwwwww....i MISS the PC Event. 75% off EVERYTHING!!!! I got like $1000 worth of stuff for $250 when I was a CM.....everyone got Disney that year for Xmas :lol:

Shouldn't be too bad after today, it JUST started today. Possibly Saturday again however because then more than just CM can go, they can bring their friends.

Behind MK is a big complex of various things - amoung them the Disney version of an outlet/overstock/scratch-dent store. It's CM access only though, and sometimes friends/family too.

On rare occasions they hold public auctions.

Anyways, stuff from the parks end up there - and it makes the cheapo places around Orlando that sell Disney junk look classy. But, i got tons of monorail set accessories for like $7 each (originally like 15-50 depending on what ti was) so i'm content.

This years sale IMO is the worst one yet. i saw a lot of people leaving empty handed. With the exception of the luggage. Seems like everyone was buying that.
