Proof of WEDway PeopleMover under the U.S. Capitol

It's common knowledge that Disney designed and built an improved verision of WDW's WEDway PeopleMover underground at Houston's Intercontinental Airport during the 1980's. It is also common knowledge that an Automated People Mover exists as a subway under the U.S. Capitol for use by politicians. I've always suspected it was a WEDway PeopleMover (based on its similarities of features seen in the photos), but was unable to prove it, until now. The following link is a resume I found on LinkedIn.com of a former Disney employer (working for WEDway) who was transferred to Bombardier when Disney sold it. He specifically mentions the Capitol WEDway system in his resume as part of his work at Bombardier, confirming once and for all that the Capitol system is indeed a WEDway. The deal was closed under Bombardier, but it was sold under the WEDway (Disney) brand. Mystery solved!

EDIT - removed accusation

Sooooooo.....not a WedWay Peoplemover in the slightest.

Driven by a person. Powered by continuous overhead bus bars. No linear induction.

Otherwise, pretty much exactly the same as Disney's system.

 :banghead:
The system shown at 1:17 does not have overhead power and also has no driver. Also appears to have the same linear induction. Did you watch the entire video? I'm not saying it is, just saying it's not the one shown at the start.

In the past, it was brought up on these boards and your WDW Magic experts here have consistently insisted that the system was not a WEDway. Now, I have proof that it is. In what way is putting something in a resume proof of anything? I guess it is like the Internet. If you read it there it must be true. Not saying it is not correct, but it is certainly not proof of anything.

Does WDW have something like this transporting employees between parks underground? I heard that once, but don't believe it.

That's not the WEDway system. But there is a WEDway system in the Capitol.

I would like to interview this person for a freelance story. Other transportation relates mysteries could be asked about as well.

You see, when Disney sold this to Bombardier, they also transferred the people who were familiar with the company's plans back then. This person is one of them!

Are you accusing a former Disney/Bombardier employer of lying on his resume?
