Prom is this weekend!

Ok i'm sure nobody cares but this Saturday is prom! It's not even my prom either since I am a sophmore in college. haha Anyways the only reason I'm going is because my friends date dumped her at the last minute! I hope it's not too lame....:lol: Anyone else who's going to prom this weekend or has already had their prom?

Ah prom... most over-rated part of the high school experience. I enjoyed my friends' prom at another school vastly more than my own.

I just pity those pathetic suburbanites (usually the revolting mother daughter combinations) who think it is the crowning moment of their lives. Sorry, but if prom is the greatest moment in your life, I'd hate the see the rest of it.

Anyways, enjoy the return to the land of high school. I'm sure the two years of removal will make it a blast.

My wife isn't too happy, but I met this really hot 18 year old at the local "Club". She's a senior and was without a date. Turns out guys are intimidated about her line of "after school work". After running 'out of singles', I offered to take her to the Prom. She was more than happy to oblige. I guess my kids college funds aren't that important after all.

Mine is tonight! I'm pretty excited, I think it'll be fun but not the greatest thing I've ever done. I had to go pick up my tux this morning . I'm mad because they messed up, they gave me the wrong shoes and they said if I want the right ones I can come pick them up at 5, but the limo is picking us up at 6 and the tux place is about 30 min away so in other words I can't get the right ones. They were nice, too, but now I have to settle with plain black.

My prom is May 8 and I'm really not feeling it. I went to prom my sophomore and junior years and now that it's MY prom, I really don't care :lol:
It's so overrated. If only it were like Saved By The Bell, but nothing in HS ever was, so thats wishful thinking. I'm only going for my girlfriend and I hope she enjoys it because if it wasn't for her, I'd probably just go to the movies or hang out with some friends.

Well guys I'm back safe and sound lol. It was a lot of fun (the actual prom part yes is overrated) but I still had fun. Before and after was probably better but still. My date was a friend of mine whom I haven't seen in almost 5 years so it was really nice to see her again. The limo was a lot of fun :lol: My date took a bunch of pictures that she's getting developed tonight so I'll probably put them in my photo album here if anyone is interested in seeing them. Anyone who is going tonight, have fun! :wave:
