Hey everyone!

It may seem a little early to claim a competition slot, but after the Road Trip, I have decided to get an unobstructed time slot next year.

The new competition will likely begin New Years Day and extend on till March or April.

But what shall the theme be this time? Here's the kicker.. I'm asking you.

I have compiled a couple of themes and concepts that I think could work in a comp. You, as Armchair Imagineers, get to select one of these in a vote.

You can also suggest your own competition ideas here as well.

Without further ado, here are the themes (aided by magical bullet points ):

Theme 1: Cumulative Disneyland:

. Individual competition

. Competitors design their own Disneyland Resort from scratch. Instead of doing it at once, you will progressively build your resort and parks through a series of challenges (Design Adventureland, the shopping district, etc.)

. Last place in a challenge is eliminated.

. The grand finale is a final presentation of your entire resort.

Theme 2: Time Machine:

. Similar to Road Trip, team and individual challenges.

. Challenges revolve around the "what ifs" of theme park history. The past, present, and future will all be showcased here.

Theme 3: YOUR idea!

These concepts are all I got at the moment. If the armchair Imagineer community wants a certain competition idea, I'd be happy to oblige.

Just a heads up though, TSI Season 3 is also going to be taking place then. Unless nothing's happening over the summer next year, I'd say moving TSI to the summer would be a great way to increase activity.

But overall, I'd say that we shouldn't be talking about this right now. In general, it's way to early. Let's Coke back to this during the summer.

I'd say we should limit ourselves to one strategy competition at a time. So, a competition based only on Imagineering and then a competition based solely (see what I did there ) on strategy for the summer.

Well since I'm the only one that picked "Other" I guess I'll explain it

Cumulative Disneyland sounds like League of Dreamers + WEDCAR and The Time Machine sounds neat - but I'd try a different setup than Road Trip to make unique new comps.

It might be a little early to be making locked down plans for next year though - I say we get through one comp at a time. Towards the fall I think we will have a better idea of how things will shake up for next year and then can make more finalized plans

However its fun to think of new comp ideas in the meantime! Let me get back to you with some thoughts
