Professional recruitment How does bridging of service work when laid off then rehired

Hi was laid off from a professional level job in Dec 2009 and about to be rehired this month, May 2012, into a different professional level job in Parks and Resorts. I had 12 and 1/2 years of service with Disney prior to my layoff in Nov 2009. Will my years of service be bridged when I am rehired this month or how will that work? Thanks,

Yep, it's 5 years and it's through an application process (which I personally never heard anyone turned down from). So once you hit 5 consecutive years, you will file for the bridge of service and, if approved, you will automatically bump up to 17.5 years of service and receive all the benefits therein.
