Professional Interview Experiences

Several weeks ago I applied for a for a professional position through the Disney careers web site. I had a phone interview with a Disney recruiter, and then a second phone interview with the hiring manager. I was then asked to fill out an official Disney job application. After returning the application, which they acknowledged reception of, I haven't heard anything since. I contact the recruiter and politely asked what the current status was, but got no response. At this point it has been over two weeks and I'm assuming the process is over. I'm just really surprised Disney is not professional enough to send an automated form rejection letter. Has anyone else had an experience like this?

Unfortunately, it seems to come down to the recruiter. There are times you will get the standard "We're Sorry" letter and other times they leave you high and dry. I agree that it should be a bit more systematic when it is so easy to communicate.
