Procedure for Candlelight Processional Meal

We ended up making dinner reservations for the opening night of the Candlelight Processional. I hadn't originally planned on booking one of the special meal things that included preferred seating at the Candlelight Processional, but it was there and I figured, what the heck?

My question is, how does that work? Our meal is a couple of hours before the show, so do they just activate something like a FastPass on our Magic Bands that gets us in to the show or give us special tickets or something?

At the end of our dinner we were given a christmassy decorated sticker type badge that has the time of the show with the date stamped on it. The styles of tickets have changed over the years. Prior to the performance there is a line on the left of the performance site for dining package guests to enter. The seating is first come so there are no specific reserved serats so be sure you line up early for a better choice of seating.

I'm more excited than my wife is because she doesn't know who Chita Rivera is and my degree is in Theatre, so I'm in awe of her! lol

If you're in the WS walkway with AA at your back and you're facing the stage of the theater, the line for those with the meal-package tickets is to your left. It can snake down all the way to Morocco. Even though it guarantees you a seat in the the theater, it's wise to get on that line earlier than you think. Closer is better, though, being at the back of the theater ain't bad.

We bring small inflatable pillows to sit on the ground or hard benches. Helps a lot.
