Problem uploading an image

I am trying to upload an image into my personal gallery. It's a JPEG, 88kb. The problem is, when I upload it all I get is the dreaded red X box. I can view the file through other programs just fine, and I have even uploaded other files just fine. But this one just doesn't seem to work. Anyone have any suggestions?

Is the image RGB or CMYK encoded? CMYK JPEGS will open in Photoshop etc, but will not display in a web browser. Hope that helps :)
