Printing Photos

How would I print photos like the AKL ones on the main site on photo paper? I would like them to be able to fit in a photo album.

If you right click on the picture you want, a menu will appear. Click on "save picture as". Save it to your hard drive. Once you've downloaded it to your C: drive it can load it a graphics package or even Microsoft Word. If you use MS Word you can resize the photo to the required size really easily. Then just print the document.

Having said all that! The quality of the photo's used for the web site will probably degrade in quality if you increase the size too much... guess you'll have to try and see what happens.

If you want more detailed instructions let me know.

Hope this helped. :)

As a general rule of thumb, pictures taken off a typical website will print like crap. The resolution of your monitor is either 72 or 96 dpi (dots per inch) and almost all web graphics are saved in 72 dpi so that the file size will be small resulting in them downloading and popping up on your screen quickly. About the lowest you normally want to for print is 266 dpi... You can reduce the dimensional size when you print to compensate for the low resolution but they still probably won't come out all that well... Another thing is copyright. Those pictures were submitted to this site by someone and posted by Steve, the owner of this site. To be a nice person and do the right thing you should ask Steve (he's wdwmagic on the forums if you want to PM him and/or the person credited with the pictures before doing anything with them) :)
