Princess Coronation & Storytelling to Return

Some good news concerning the Princess Fantasy Faire. While i'm not the biggest PFF fan I'm glad they're bringing back its entertainment offerings. And it's such a pretty stage too (thank you Snow White the Musical!). Summer only though.. maybe they could tie this into summer nightastic :lookaroun Nighttime storytelling?

Princess Coronation & Storytelling to Return

The Royal Coronation and Princess Storytelling shows will be returning to Disneyland's Princess Fantasy Faire for the summer. The tentative dates for the revival are from some time in June until August 15.

Originally part of the 50th Anniversary “Year of a Million Dreams” promotion, the two shows—though popular—were discontinued to save money.

A cast member shared, "Some TDA managers were giving a tour of the Park to a big honcho. He questioned why the stage was closed. The TDA managers must not have given a very good answer, because we are getting the shows back. But first, the stage must be rehabbed. It has been sitting unused for over a year."

The Entertainment division worker wasn't sure who the "big honcho" was, but speculated it may have been the park president, George Kalogridis, who has been scouring the grounds to identify quick opportunities to increase capacity and alleviate the constant congestion.

Better than a half used facility, fairly large one too.

Good news if its true that George is looking to increase the park capacity, I wonder if Tom Staggs also saw the half used theater... Now if we can only get a new stage show, and new day time parade well really be set.

Mouseinfo is reporting that the Coronation Ceremony and Storytelling, will return on June 11.

Some enchanted little birdies have passed on some information to us that World of Color is not the only thing hitting the scene at the Disneyland Resort. We've been told that the Coronation Ceremony and Princess Storytelling at the Disney Princess Fantasy Faire are also scheduled to return starting June 11.

That's good news. It's a waste of space down there now.

I'm certainly not the intended demographic for this, and I have no intention of visiting it. But it's good to see them trying to use every available space for all of the people packing into Disneyland lately. Bravo!
