Princess and the Frog characters at Port Orleans?

I'm checking into French Quarter in two days and I was just wondering if they did anything to the resort in acknowledgement of the film.

Then that's a shame because they have essentially identical themes so it would seem like a no-brainer to capitalize on that. Oh well.

It would be a cute idea to put a character restaurant at POFQ

maybe called Tiana's Place?

I thought I remember seeing a picture of a gator playing a trumpet near the pool area but I guess that was built long before the film.

Those gators are original elements from the resorts. They were there long before Princess and the Frog came to fruition. Personally, I think a tie in would have been good for a short period of time, but anything longstanding really doesn't have a place in a resort in my opinion. They infused Lilo and Stitch into the Polynesian and he is still there. I guess it fits, but I also like to see the resorts be their own unique places as well.

They really could do that without much trouble. They could just dust off and open up the old Bonfamille's Cafe.

There are no PATF tie-ins at POFQ, nor anywhere in WDW for that matter -- it was a film that was not a marketing success.

The one thing Disney DOES have plenty of is PATF souvenirs in the POFQ gift shop. They are on clearance (at least they were in Dec).
