Pride Rock Meet & Greet

Pride Rock__
This is where you'll be able to meet the four legged characters from The Lion King in a living character way. First there'll be a path right before you hit Tusker house area that take you behind it. There you'll find the 100 ft. tall Pride Rock. You walk around to the back and then it's a __waiting area. Then you go inside into a seated pre show room where you watch The Lion King story. Then you walk out into a cave where the lionesses are. You can meet them. And then you keep walking and your at the front part of Pride Rock where Simba, Nala, Kovu, an Kiara are. This is where the real interaction happens. Each group gets a little time to talk to the family. Then you can walk back toward the back of the rock and take a quick elevator trip up to the top and take panoramic pictures.__

Excellent concept. Really good. I think it would work if any backstge areas were not visible or at least camoflaged. That would be important.

Just to add my spin, what if the "mountain" held the FotLK theater also or at least provided an entrance/exit to the well themed and hidden from view show building. Very immersive.

Yes backstage areas must be hidden. I hate seeing showbuildings lol.

That's a great idea, it should be in Africa anyway, that's where the story took place lol.

More importantly, it would allow CMM to be completely repurposed. I have thought that FotLK would be much better in the Africa section at DAK or in Adventureland. There is a pad big enough between the tree house and the Crystal Palace. The show has proven to be a timeless classic and it deserves a theater at least as good as the one in HK. If I could choose, I'd rather see the show moved to the Magic Kingdom.
