Price of Dining Plan?

Does anyone know how much the dining plan costs if I just purchase it alone? I'm debating between using DVC points and purchasing the dining plan, or going when they offer the free dining. Thanks!

The additional cost is $37.99 per night per adult or junior (ages 10-17), $10.99 per night for children (ages 3-9).

This is for one table service meal, one counter service meal, and one snack per person per day.

Just to clarify....

Only DVC members using points to book their stay can add the Disney Dining Plan separately.

Otherwise the plan is not sold separately to the general public, but as part of the Magic Your Way Plus Dinning Package. This vacation package includes a stay at a Disney Resort, a Magic Your Way Ticket of your choice, and the Disney Dining Plan for the length of your stay. Everyone in the room must be on the same package and choose the same ticket options and length.

Hope this helps! :sohappy:

Free Dining Plan!!!

If you book from 8/15 to 9/30 at a Value Resort you can receive a free dining plan. It is currently on the main Disney Resort webpage. There are black outs and I believe you have to have a minimum of 3 nights stay. I just booked during that time and 4 nights, 3 park hoppers & the dining plan was $820 for two people!

Two things:

1) DVC members cannot take advantage of the free Dining Plan (darn it! ;) )

2) The Dining Plan is can be a phenomenal deal! We spent $434 on it for our trip last week, and ended up getting about $650 of food.

I agree, It is actually pretty hard to not come out ahead with the dining plan. You would have to get the cheapest item on every menu and i still think you would only break even.

Yeah i guess that would be correct. We usually pay for our breakfasts since they arent nearly as expensive as a dinner would be.
