preschoolers request-Darkwing Duck

Hi all! My little boy is almost 4 and on our upcoming trip to WDW in September he wants to see Darkwing Duck. Darwing is his favorite...and he just knows he will be there. I have never seen him in the parks before. Does anyone know if his character is or has ever been out and about? This is a silly question but he is so intent on seeing him I thought I would ask. Also, he wants to see the Rescue Rangers-Chip and Dale. I know we will see them but didn't know if they would have their Rescue Ranger gear on. Thanks to anyone who can help me make my little one smile. If we don't find Darkwing Duck I think I'll just tell him he is out saving the world from mass destruction.

It would be a greater achievement to avoid Chip N Dale, admittedly minus there Rangers gear.

Darkwing Duck was a character at one point. He was in a show back when ToonTown Fair was Mickey's Starland. The same goes for Chip and Dale with Rescue Rangers gear on. Disney keeps all their character costumes from ways back as I've heard.

I'm no cast member, but maybe you can go to Main Street's town hall and request to see Darkwing. I'm sure somebodys willing to go out back and put on the costume one more time.

Back when I was young and those shows were new and part of Fox's afternoon line up....they had a show in Mickeys Toontown Fair featuring Darkwing, Launchpad, Chip and Dale, Balou ect. I don't know if you'll find him now though. You may get lucky, if you find him anywhere I would think he would be in Mickeys Toontown.

Darkwing is out at MGM in the late morning/early afternoon at either the Great Movie Ride courtyard or on New York Street in Washington Square.

sadly, you can no longer see Chip and Dale as rescue rangers

It's not that easy, But, yes, Character costumes are saved indefinately, OR until they deteriorate. I would contact MGM, they usually keep a schedule of character appearances.

Appearances are based (usually) on public demand. If he's not scheduled... make some noise. They may listen.

what costumes? Darkwings MK attire is now in storage at the Character warehouse located off property.. however, he still has his wardrobe at MGM and usually goes out at least 4 days each week there (see above post). Also, Chip has retired his leather jacket and Dale his Aloha shirt

Now I can never tell them apart though

They stopped saving the day and are now saving the planet by wholistic farming methods over in The Land. Spinning around all day would make me dizzy though.
