As seasoned passholders, I ran into something new at the All Star Sports over Thanksgiving. For as long as I can remember, Buildings 1&6 in the Surf's Up section were preferred rooms. I always pay the extra cost to be in that area.
When checking in at Thanksgiving, they told us that Buildings 7 & 10 are also preferred rooms. There is nothing in their literature to say this and they wanted us to take them at their word.
I contacted Guest Services when I got home and asked them to clarify which rooms are preferred. You get different answers depending who you talk to. I also asked them to make sure their website and literature are updated. I guess Disney can wave their wand and magically turn buildings into preferred rooms and charge their guest more.
