Happy New year everyone! This is my first attempt at a pre-trip report so no photos for now until I figure it out. ;) We are busy packing while our new years ham is roasting in the oven and the Rose Parade is on TV. This will be my 6th trip, DH's 5th trip and DS 3rd trip. We our going to celebrate our 2-year wedding anniversary on January 8th :p. That's right, Elvis's birthday! This will be our second trip as a family, 3rd trip as a couple. We Disneymooned here 2 years ago.

Agenda: Leave home tomorrow 01/02 stay at airport hotel so we don't have to mess with Houston rush hour traffic. Our flight is bright and early at 7:30am on 01/03 so we plan on going to bed early (hopefully we can sleep). We arrive at Orlando around 11am and will take the Magical Express to the Beach Club Resort. We should be at the BC by 12 noon and hopefully our room will be ready.

First stop: Magic Kingdom. We are excited to see the new Fantasy Land. We have been watching the construction the last two trips so it will be nice to see what is behind the wall. We should have time to check everything out before our 5:30pm Citrico's reservation. After dinner we will go back to MK to watch Wishes and the ELP. I checked out the updated times and was delighted to see they have a 8pm and 10pm ELP AND the park is open until 1am! Now I wonder, is this part of the Limited Time Magic or do they anticipate large crowd levels? Hmmm. We are hoping the holiday crowds have leveled off by the time we are there. When we went on our Disneymoon it was so dead! We loved it. The difference was we went on 01/09. We will be a week earlier so it will most likely be busier.

Day 2: EPCOT! Last trip we only had half a day here so we plan on 2 whole days this time. Also, we are staying at BC so we can walk! Breakfast ADR at Akersurs. Yes, I am taking my DS to a princess breakfast. This is my anniversary trip and I want to see the princesses! Last year was his birthday trip so don't feel bad for him. We should have plenty of time to play in Future World. Lunch will be snacks with our snack credits. Dinner is at our favorite, Le Cellier. We hope to find a primo spot for Illuminations. The park is open until 11pm so we will have time to find my Grande Marnier Slush! Never tried it so I am excited. I also want to try the Avacado Magarita. After we have had our fill, nice walk back to BC and retire for the night.

Day 3: Back to Magic Kingdom. Breakfast at Crystal Palace. Mickey Waffles and potato casserole. We have all day to catch our favorite rides. Dinner at Narcosee's and back to MK to whatever we want. Park is open again until 1am!

Day 4: Breakfast at Chef Mickey. We have never been so it will be nice to check out the Contemporary. Hopefully we can stay here next time. Then we can hop on the monorail and go back to EPCOT. Dinner ADR at Yachtsman. Then we can either head back to EPCOT, check out the Boardwalk or go to Down Town Disney. We would like to check out the pool at BC but we are thinking it will be to cold.

Day 5: Breakfast at Cape May then off to Disney Hollywood Studios. Late lunch ADR at Brown Derby. We got the Fantasmic package so we have reserved seating. After Fantasmic we will have time to go to Down Town to shop! We will miss the Osbourne Family lights:( but we did catch it last year. Breathtaking!

Day 6: Last day . Make sure all bags are packed, check out and hand bags to bellstand. Head over to Animal Kingdom, breakfast at Tusker House. Our flight is at 5:50pm so we should have until 1pm to ride Mt. Everest a few times and whatever DS wants. We will have to head back to BC to take the Magical Express back to Orlando eventually. DS has school the next day and I will have laundry to tend to. Back to work the following day and start planning for our next trip all over again!

Thank you for reading and I hope to have a full trip report with photos sometime after we return.
