Hello,Our trip to WDW begins? 10-8. I have received a pre registration notice. Do I do it or wait till we are at our hotel?

It's up to you. Pre-check-in can mean you don't need to go to the front desk at all. You can still go there to get Magic Bands if you didn't receive them in the mail [anyone from outside the US has to pick up their MBs].

They will text or email you with your room number when the room is ready and provide your room number. You can drop any carry-on from your flight off at Bell Services and go start enjoying the parks.

Some guests like checking in at the desk anyway. Interacting with the CMs can be fun.

We did it two weeks ago. We finally got the text with our room number 3 days into our trip so it was useless. It has usually worked well. Just a glitch this time.
