Pre-park opening travel WL to MK

My family will be visiting the WDW in November, staying at Wilderness Lodge. We have an ADR for the Crystal Palace 8am breakfast. (Yay Piglet!) and are wondering what is the best way to travel from WL to MK at that time of the morning, and how much time to allow to get there. We'll have a car, but o:confused:ur first choice would be the boats if they run that early. Any thoughts?

I don't remember the exact time the boats start running, but I know when we had to leave for an early ADR they were not running yet.

Take the bus. The buses are very easy and fast that early in the morning.

Do NOT drive your car to the MK.....you have to park in the parking lot of the TTC and then take a ferry or the monorail to the MK.
It is much faster to use the bus for early ADR's in the park.

As far as how much time to allow, I'm not exactly sure....we got lucky and a bus pulled up right when we got to the bus stop. We were at the gates of the MK less than 20 minutes after walking out of our hotel room.

You should leave the WL no later than 7:15. Honestly, if it were me I would probably leave my resort room at 7:00 just in case you have to wait for the next bus. If you get there too early, you can take your time walking down a nearly empty Main Street. You can get some wonderful pictures.

If I remember correctly the boats at WL start at 6:45am or 7:00am. Even if you get to the Contemporary and take the monorail (or walk) you should be able to make it in plenty of time. The busses right away in the morning would be fast too.

We also are staying al WL and have an early reservation at Crystal Palace. When I made the reservation they told me transportation starts one hour before the park opens. The day of our ressie MK opens @ 9:00, our ressie is @ 8:30. They told us to be waiting for the boat @ 7:45-7:50, and as long as we got one of the first boats we were fine. I would check with the resort when you check in and tell them your concerns.

Disney transportation is up and running in plenty of time to get Resort Guests to their Park ADRs. Ask at your resort reception how long you should allow for the journey and get to the appointed bus stop about 10 minutes before that

I remember our last trip we stayed at WL. We arrived at the WL boat transporation too early. We were standing around and this transporation boat captain saw us, he was training someone to drive one of the boats. He pulled in and offered to take us to MK. Of course we did and it was cool being the only ones in the boat.
