Unlike most movie-licensed video games which are rushed out the door to cash in on the movie, Pirates of the Caribbean was originally developed as a sequel to the excellent game Sea Dogs and was rebranded late in the development cycle. Because of this, Pirates of the Caribbean is a truly excellent game with full-featured gameplay, awesome graphics, and amazing sea battles. I love every second of it and even my anti-Disney friends agree that it is a high-quality game.
