Post New Year's Crowds

Hi!

I've been to Disney for New Year's and the days following New Year's, and I've also been there the week after New Year's. I really can't remember the crowd levels the days following New Year's. I'll be there the third (Thursday), and even though I'm sure it will be busy, do you think the parks will close due to capacity?

We went last year from 1/1-1/7 and the crowds were not too bad. It really thinned out as the week went on. Have a great time :wave:

My very first visit to WDW and the Mk was on Jan. 6, 2004. It was a Tuesday(I think). Crowds were not bad at all. The park was not empty by any means, but not crowded. I was able to do the rides I wanted with minimal waits.

If it ends up like the week of Christmas, levels will be low. We just got back (22Dec07 to 30Dec07) and lines were never longer then 20 minutes, with the exception of rockin roller coaster 90 minutes. I guess $3.00 a gallon of gas is having an effect.
