Possible meet date: 4/18 - anyone up for it

As I just mentioned in the 4/2 thread we tossed out a 4/18 date for a meet. I think the only reason we chose that date was that it was the first sunday past Easter. Maybe there was another reason.

Regardless, this is a pulse check to see who might be interested in a meet on that sunday.

I'll be flying in that day. My flight gets in at Orange County around 8:30am. I hope to be at the parks by 11am. Let me know the time and where and I'll see what I can do.

my wife reminded me that her firm is taking us out to Club 33 that evening. Oh poor me! lol I can be there earlier....but after 7...I will be detained.

Opening weekend is Memorial Day weekend... we have Team Members previews a week or two before that. Yaaaay! I'm actually more excited to see the commies in their new exhibit. They're been backstage for years now.

Looks like Kirsten, Tigg/Cal, and myself are all evening folks. DDude is mid day and Paul I am assuming you are all day?

So - if you and DDude want to set a time that would be good.

The mainn meet looks like it will be an evening meet. Let's shoot for 6:00pm at the Hub area, by the mini statue of White Rabbit (for a very important date :lol: )

I can't remember off hand exactly where White Rabbit is in the Hub. I think is it to the left of Partners as you look at Partners from MSUSA.

So - sound good to everyone? Paul, sorry you have dinner at 33 and can't be with us for long.

It was really, really good to put faces to names. Now that I've met some of you and seen how civil y'all are, I won't be as mean on the boards.

Also guys, according to Mice Age no worries about the boarding up of the apartment:

"Not to worry about Walt's apartment, it's just part of the full rehab. Greg Emmer allocated funds for Walt's place personally, and it's also interesting to note that he has really clamped down on who can get in there. Basically any entrance into Walt's apartment now has to go through him."

I am bummed I missed it but I came down with a horrendous cold. Not my week. I left a message for Kirsten, I hope she got it.

Anyway - time to start thinking about the next one.

ToT opens the 5th, but that is mid-week and I know tough for many people, myself included.

What works for all of you?
May 5 (I will be there in the AM and out of the park fairly early)
May 7 (Friday)
May 9 (Sunday)
