I saw a video from that bald dude that does universal updates on YouTube saying that he heard from someone that Poseidon’s fury is getting an actual refurb. Just a rumor though.

Does anyone know anything about the likelihood of it reopening?

I don't get why this land still exists. You can't have a park that's completely IP except for 1 unpopular section. I guess Universal feels it would cost too much to replace it.

It's supposedly been on the chopping block for years but other projects get green lit instead. With them currently building a new park, it will likely be a while before we see an entire land replaced in one of the current parks.

I still enjoy LC's theming, even if the lone attraction left standing is subpar, and I don't think it not being tied to an IP is a problem. In fact it would still be tied to a sort of IP (someone wrote Greek mythology) if they hadn't added completely original characters like Darkenon.

I think the land would still be workable if they simply retooled its attractions. I would love to see a dark ride with Poseidon's original concept. Alas, it will more likely continue to stagnate until it's finally replaced. I'm just not sure what they'll do with Mythos; Universal loves to brag about that place.

Barney theater is being used for the DreamWorks meet & greet thing, but I agree that it's definitely not being used to its proper potential.

The Lost Continent also has The Eighth Voyage of Sindbad show building it could open again
I was in the build, used as part of a line for a much more popular attraction. I have seen the Sindbad show but can't remember anything about it. Saw it long ago.
