Portofino Bay CL questions

Hey guys!! I had a couple questions I was wondering if you could answer for me.

-Can you use the lounge while waiting for your room to be ready (after checking in?) (I called the hotel directly (twice) - first person said no, second said yes.
We weren't sure if we should have breakfast reservations ready.

-Is there an email to contact CL services? (Like you do when you say at a Disney resort) Or do they contact you?

- Do they accommodate kids with food allergies?

As far as allergies go I would call the hotel and ask how to reach concierge or food services. That is the advice I've seen give when this question has come up before related to Universal Orlando Hotels.
