I stayed there a couple of times here are a list of things i love about it The decorations the pool (the slide is very cool looking ) the boat ride to dd (very relaxing and if you have a good guide they tell about things on the way) the beignets (french donuts ) My husband is from louisiana and he says its set up exactly like the french quarter in louisiana I loved it when it had bonfamilias but its still ok I loved being able to get cajun food without going back to louisana Oh well we are going to louisiana for thanksgiving and to me when i stayed there was less kids than some resorts

I've stayed there twice as well, before the resort joined up with Dixie Landings.
The swimming pool is great (if you can spare the time away from the parks).
The boat ride to DTD is excellent - can get a it chilly in the evenings.
You can hire boats and bikes and explore yourself.
You are also on the edge of WDW near to the Interstate for easy travelling to the other attractions.

I haven't stayed anywhere else on site but would recommend POFQ everytime.

I like it too!

It's my second favorite next to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. The walking paths at PO-FQ are very peaceful! Also, the little piano bar thing is fun at night...they used to have singing and stuff, but that was before 9-11...not sure if that was effected during the cutbacks.

Port Orleans French Quarter is my very favorite Disney resort! The grounds are lovely, and walking along the canal either early in the morning or in the evening is peaceful and beautiful. The whole family has always been able to find something they like to eat at the food court, too.

You'll love it!:D
