Port Orleans French Quarter

I have never been to this resort and was hoping that you guys can give me the inside scoop.

Is it worth going to or should I switch

It's a great resort. Went there when i got engaged. I just booked it for December. Great rates that time of year. There is a lot for the kids to do also.

Its the only resort we go to. Its half the size of the old Dixie Landings, excellent pool for the kids, nice gardens around the accomodation blocks, boat & bikes to hire, river boat taxis to DTD. One word of warning - breakfast at Bonfamille Cafe is very poor.
Eat out for breakfast and I'd recommend it to anyone.

I have been there before, and will be back. The resort is very nice and to me the best moderate out there. The size is great, wherever you are you never have to walk far to get somewhere else. The foodcourt, rooms, and pool are very nice. The boat to DTD is also a great perk.

One word of warning - breakfast at Bonfamille Cafe is very poor.

Bonfamille is now closed. I have stayed their twice I loved it.

It's the only place we stay....

Each time we "DO DISNEY" we stay at Dixie Landings "Port Orleans" and have loved it. Sure we could stay somewhere else but why spoil a good thing. Good memories.....

We just stayed at POR.....adjacent to POFQ.....

my mom was very dissapointed in POR.....and said if she had the chance would have loved to switched to the FQ......

sorry if this doesn't go with the other posts but i am very confused on this matter of port orleans and dixie landings. Why is there no more dixie landings? why was the name changed? Is it still the same? I have been wondering this for a while

POR or the old DL is the exact same...all that changes was the name.......and they might have changed the name because DL was so close to PO it would be easier to have it as there sister resort...but thats just a guess...

if u get a room there...and look at the back of the door where the fire escape route is.....the name on that says DL.....:veryconfu

That and it was changed to be politically correct.
