We are going on our 1st cruise to the Bahamas. We are planning to do the stingray adventure at Castaway Cay. I would like to do either the Blue Lagoon Dolphin Encounter or the Dolphin Swim. Any thoughts?

We really enjoyed the Blue Lagoon Dolphin Encounter. We did that on our first cruise. For us, it was something we'd never experienced. We chose not to do the dolphin swim because our one daughter, at the time, would not have felt comfortable. Definitely didn't feel like we missed out by only doing the encounter. I know it's pricey but we felt it was worth it.
My hubby and dtr12 aren't excited about it. They want to stay on the ship but I really want to. Thanks for the info!

We did the Blue Lagoon Sea Lion encounter and thought it was amazing and well worth it. It was just my wife and I, no one else chose this encounter so we got extra time with her, and got to feed some extra fish and have some extra tricks, etc. It was a really cool experience and Blue Lagoon island is gorgeous. We both HATED Nassau otherwise - thankfully Blue Lagoon is an option. Afterwards we sat and watched other groups do the dolphin swims/encounters from the piers and they also looked like a great experience but we're glad we went with the sea lions. Try to book an early visit so you can spend some time on their awesome beach afterwards!

We also did the Sea Lion encounter and LOVED it. Blue Lagoon Island is very nice. We also enjoy walking around Nassau and doing some shopping near the port.
