when do you decide on the section you want to stay in , we arive on dec 17 and the only thing our res states is the room type,any help out there. thanks in advance :wave:

Call the hotel and make arrangements for where you would like your room to be located. Also arrive early and don’t be afraid to check in a little late. This will maximize your probability of having your room located where you want. If you don’t request a particular section they will put you wherever they have room. If you are staying at a value resort the only difference between the rooms is their proximity to the food court, pool etc. This does no hold true for the other resorts. If you are staying at a moderate or deluxe room you can ask for a free upgrade to a better room when you arrive. You might not get it but it never hurts to ask. My in laws did this when they took our daughter to Disney for her birthday. They wound up in a suite at the Polynesian for the price of their standard room.
