POR To Chef Mickey's

I'm trying to figure out the best way to get to Chef Mickey's from POR and I'm coming up with this:

Bus to MK and either walking or getting the resort monorail to the Contemporary.

Does anyone else have a better solution? Also, I'm with a group of 11 adults and 3 infants.

That's what I'd do, take the bus to MK, then walk on over, it's going to be your best bet. :) Unless you don't want to bother w/MK, you could go to EPCOT, then get on that monorail, and then transfer....but depends on how much you want to avoid walking, or if you dont mind it.

We took a bus from all-stars over to MK and decided to walk it over to the Contemporary. If you're lucky like we were, a nice bus driver might spot you and give you a ride over. He let us hop right on :)

We went on Thanksgiving and were staying at All Star Movies. We told the MK bus driver we had PS at Chef Mickey's and they dropped us off there.

If your driver won't drop you off directly, don't fret, the walk is only about 5-10 minutes, and its quite relaxing if the weather is nice. Plus its fun to read the "Walk Around the World" stones!

Another thing, if your PS is before park opening, the bus driver will be more likely to let you off at the Contemporary.

Walking with 3 infants might be a little difficult, but walking distance won't be much farther to walk to the Contemporary than it is to the monorail.

If that's a Character Breakfast you're talking about at Chef Mickey's, they typically have Character Breakfast busses that come to the resorts. I know this because we had to sneak on one on a few occasions to get to the tours we had - early in the AM.

The bellhops at the resorts have all the answers - ask them!
