POR - rooms

We are looking at booking POR this afternoon and are unsure what room to book, originally we were looking at the Garden View but are now considering the Royal guest room. Are the royal rooms worth the extra $$??

If you have stayed at POR what room cat. would you recommend, we are a family of 4, our kids will be 14 and 16 when we travel. Thanks

POR is our favourite and we always just get the standard view. They're all gorgeous! It's a beautiful resort.

We stayed in a standard view, as well, and loved it! I don't really feel it's necessary to pay the extra money to upgrade to a "royal" room.

I probably wouldn't pay for it based on your kids' ages. We stayed in one in January 2013 but only because we had to upgrade to get a discount on our package. The rooms are beautiful and the fireworks in the headboard are fun.

Last September we stayed in the Alligator Bayou section, garden view room. We absolutely loved it!! Another option in the Alligator Bayou section, some of the rooms have a trundle size bed that comes out of the wall. Our daughter was 14 last Fall and she slept comfortably on the bed. She is about 5' tall, 85 lbs. Hope this helps. Have an amazing trip
