Sunday we got up early for the MK extra hour. The rai had stopped and we headed straight for SPace Mountain, got a fast pass (boy are these great!) and checked out the rest of Tomorrowland. Rode the Buzz Lightyear ride and really enjoyed it. Did the Astro Spinner and discovered a big 16 year old can't fit in the same spaceship with a chubby mom:lol: So he rode, I snapped pix.
We enjoyed the traditional Fantasyland classics, Peter Pan's Flight, It's a Small World, and then saw Philharmagic. We were blown away by how good this is!!! It is a MUST SEE for everyone who goes to WDW. Back for our SPace Mountain fast pass, and then lunch at the Terrace Dining area.
Off for more MK - Haunted Mansion and just walking around and enjoying it, but the crowds really started to build until I can honestly say it was claustrophic - all those strollers, yikes. So we left and retuend to POR. My son rented a mouseboat for half an hour and really enjoyed it. Then off to Pleasure Island/Disney Quest via the Sassagoula Stemboat, nice ride. The boat leaves you a long way from Disney Quest, though, which was our destination
Disney Quest was somewhat of a disappointment to my son, who is a huge computer gaming fan and does pretty sophisticated on-line gaming. He expected more and thought it was all pretty tame.
We did a couple games together, thetn footsore me left and he stayed for a while but it did not occupy him more than a couple of hours, Given howothers have raved about Disney quest, we were surprised.
