Popcorn buckets

Are popcorn buckets for sale at WDW and can you get refills on them? Not sure if they were nixed during covid and if they’ve come back. Going in July and we like finding the newest designs.

There were popcorn buckets available when we were there in May. I saw quite a few Steamboat Willie and Millennium Falcon ones being carried around.

curious, i have never bought popcorn there, what is the regular price, and the average price of a refillable container, plus, can you use it in different parks, or only on the day you buy it?

I got one a couple weeks ago. It is good for your entire resort stay across all parks. I believe it was $12 with a $2 refill, and a basic popcorn is $5.75, so 3 purchases is when you break even.

do they have chips in them to keep from using 2 months down the road, how do they know how long you are staying, 1 day or 3?

No. They are just buckets. You show them your bucket and they hand you a box of popcorn, and some filled up a cup with popcorn and handed both to you.
