Pop Pool Rules

My wife and I recently stayed at Pop Century for a quick visit. We have a 7-month old and wanted to visit the pool. My wife had remembered to bring everything except for his swimsuit and the swim diapers. So we bought a pair of swim diapers from Everything Pop.

When we went to swim in the pool, the lifeguard told us that we first had to buy a pair of disposable shorts from the store before the baby could go in the water. We were confused, because that is what we thought we had just bought. But no, he said they sell another item that looks like shorts. So, we went back to the store and were unable to find anything of the like. A CM at the store assisted us and even offered to go out to the pool area to speak with the lifeguard and explain that the swim diapers were all that they sold. We weren't distracting the lifeguards from doing their real jobs (the pool was closed due to lightning in the area, but was supposed to open shortly), but even when the CM told the lifeguard about the diapers, he insisted and bought over his supervisor. Even the supervisor said they had to have an additional piece of clothing on over the diaper for sanitary purposes.

Now I get that, and I understand. We've always had a swimsuit, but my wife just forgot this time. We would have gladly bought one in the store had they sold them in that size. But they didn't. And the pool rules state nothing about wearing additional clothing over the swim diaper. If they want to add that rule, they should add it to the sign and sell the items at their stores.
