Pop Century?

When I was flying back from WDW, I noticed some T-Shaped buildings on the ground. Since I saw more of them just a little bit later (and using my compendium of pointless Disney World information). I gathered that it was Pop Century. I noticed something odd though. One side of hourglass lake looked complete, but the other side only had two buildings! (And since it was from the air, I don't know if they were complete) Isn't this supposed to be done by December? Or are they only going to open one side?

Yep... That's Pop Century. But only something like 2000 out of 5000 rooms will be complete in December. I think they will all be on one side of the lake you saw.

thats sounds like a huge hotel. how is that compared to other hotels

2880 rooms of this 5760-room value resort open in December; compare it to the All-Stars, but it will be better.

It has exactly the same number of room as all 3 of the AS Hotels have combined (5760)

:lookaroun In any of the information on Pop century, has anyone found a floor plan for the rooms yet?? I was hoping that this one would have two sinks in the bath area. That is the main problem at the All Stars-- at least for us.

I'm waiting--- waiting--- waiting--- Hummm what, only ?? two years late--- :goodnevil From what I have heard from CM'S they have to open this time or apply for another cert. of occupancy and that is a lot of $$$$ Open Open Open YAH!! :sohappy:

There is a 98% chance that there will only be one sink in the rooms, thats the whole point everything is economical!

Thanks for the Floor Plans--- I really did not think that they would have "2" sinks---- but I was hoping. I also noticed that it says 27 inch TV? on the discription.

I just stayed at All Star Music and Riverside in the last few weeks and one thing we did notice at both!!, was a Very Small TV--- "19" at the most!!! Hummmmmmmmm what is happining? Anyone else notice this??:goodnevil :lookaroun

Let me clue you in on something most people don't realize. All the Value resorts, have the same floor plans, with a mirror image layout built in pairs and sharing a common water/waste stack. there may be some minor adjustments based on each resorts construction specs but there all the same design, the simplicity is why there design was chosen for the resorts.
