Pop Century?

ok.. i haven't been to this forum in a while, so i am confused about what happened to the Pop Century Resort. Is it open? Is it any good? :hammer:

You should do a search and you will find out anything you want to know about Pop Century, But In a nutshell the resort is on hold, all construction has stoped and only two buildings are close to compleation the rest of the property is half started or not started at all due to the saging atttendance and the econmy

THis information couldnt be furthest from the truth. In reality the first half of the resort is complete and has been for some time. The furnishings were even moved in well over a year ago. The second half was started but essentially mothballed until such time that the economy picks back up. Thus there are two buildings that sit on the second half of the resort that are basically shells.

If you look over this website carefully you will find various pictures of the first half in various stages of production and as a completed project.

Aparrently you miss understand so I guess i will get technical about it;

from what I know from around christmal time is , Out of twenty total buildings only 10 have been built, and out of thoes ten only three or four have been compleatly outfited with interior and exterior theming, the rest are just shells, they still have there tempoary saftey railings and thats about it,

So in as sence I was totaly on the money

I will stand Corrected only if you can provide a legitimate source from which you base your information. Otherwise I will stick to what I have seen with my own two eyes of the actual buildings as well as photos.

These are arial shots of PC...back in December of 2002....
I believe all 10 in the front section are done....not sure about furnishings though....
you can see the plots for the other 10 behind...as well as 2 shells....
Don't know when they stopped construction...but this was only 5 months ago....if that....

I dunno about that....these picks show nearly all exterior complete in all 10....even pools are completed....but I dunno...
