Is this establishment opening in the new year? I only ask as its being advertised in a couple of UK travel brochures I picked up today. Says opening soon and dates are available from Jan 03.

Yes, it SHOULD open next year, around about the middle of the year, the second phase will start at the end of the year and open in 2004 I think. However, work has been slow to non starting, its over a year behind schedule and has constantly been pushed back and back. Things such as Mission Space have taken preferance, and to save money WDW management have not really been in any hurry to finish it.

Pop Century IS a nice hotel, its layout and style is obviously very similar to that of the All Star Resorts, but there will be lots of differences too, one thing is the lighting, Pop Century looks very pretty at night also the food court will be different, much more going on.

I was looking on some other sites and there was a pic of the layout for the PCR complex. The one thing I couldn't figure out was there are 20 total buildings 10 on each side of the lagoon. grouped in sets of two or three., with only four courtyards/pools per side. . I was trying to figure out what group was what decade. The pools are shaped like the following, a bomb/blimp(its hard to tell), coke bottle, a highway sign sheld, bowling pin. star??. a square ti resemble a computer screen and keyboard.
