Pop Century (or lack there of)

I just tried to make reservations for Pop Century in April 2003, and they said to call back when the place is open. How am I suppoesed to know when the hotel will open. They should take reservations for April 2003, because all of the websites say it will open in November 2002. Usually I make my reservations a year in advance, now I won't be able to.

This seems very un-Disney like

So far, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s are complete. 1990s would of course be next, which would complete Phase I. However, what I want to know is how far along things like the main lobby, food court, bus loop, and pools are. Those, of course, are also necessary for the first 2800 rooms to open.
