Pop Century Jogging Trail - Construction Impact?

We're arriving for a weeklong trip at POP in August and one of my favorite things to do is go for a jog or walk around the lake (and past AoA) each morning. It's just a super peaceful way to start each day. With the gondola construction going on (I'm not following it closely), it sounds like construction is near the lake. I'm wondering how much of an impact that has on the jogging trail - does anyone know? Even if I just have to do the same half to AoA and back and can't do the full loop, I'll be good. I would be disappointed if I couldn't get any walk or run in, though.

Maybe try posting in the gondola thread? It seems to be a fairly active one with a nice amount of people posting regularly who may know.

I'm guessing the locals who post there don't come to this part of the board often. Good luck!

I am an avid runner - especially on vacation - and was at Pop Century this past week (June 6-12). The path around Hourglass Lake was open and available for morning runs. The part of the path between the resorts near the 50s and Little Mermaid buildings has a fence up as that is where they are bringing in the equipment for the station to the barges, but it is not currently impacting the path. Hopefully it is open for you in August!
