Back in 2004 I came down to Walt Disney World for a 10 day stay. Me, My Mom, Stepdad, And Brother stayed at the Pop Century Resort. I have to say this is the best Resort at WDW. The value is great (The room rate was only $104 a night) The rooms are comfortable, The Resort is themed around the Pop Cultures of the last 50 years, From Bowling Pins, Rubiks Cube, Big Wheel, Table soccer, Yo Yo's and more. We stayed in the 70's building. I love the Food Court, And the Arcade. I will be back next summer and we will be back at Pop Century. I looooooove Pop Century Resort. :D :sohappy:

I have stayed in the 70's area of Pop Century a couple of times and have enjoyed it too! It is a great resort and I will be staying there again in less than two weeks! I hope to try out the 50's this time. :D

Pop Century is my favorite too! (Even though I haven't tried any other resorts, lol). I love the theme and all the decorations and the pools. And last time I stayed there, I asked if there was a King bed available, and we ended up staying in a preferred room for free! It was about 5 min from the entrance and right next to the bowling pin pool. It was great.

Pop is a nice and reasonably place to stay at WDW. However, I'd encourage you to venture out and try some of the moderates or better. Other than price, I'm sure you'll find the larger rooms and the additional amenities to be a pretty decent inprovement over the values.

We stayed at PC our first night, as we knew we'd be arriving late and didn't want to pay higher prices for just a few hours stay...the next day we moved to Coronado and I have to say, both were beautiful but we liked PC more. In PC, we had the add on of a fridge so it was $10 more but in CSR, they had the fridge already in the room... but in PC, we had a coffee pot and in CSR we didn't?

The room was slightly larger in CSR, but other than that, we found the main area of PC more lively. I liked that it was busier and the Christmas decorations were gorgeous. I LOVED the food court. I was in shock at some of the selections. It was my husband's first time at WDW and I had built it up for 3.5 years... and this was his first impression... (he is a huge fan now btw) :)
