Pop Century - Corssroads Plaza

I'm gonna be staying at Pop Century in Sept with 3 friends, and we'll be relying on Disney Transportation as we won't be renting a car. One of the group is a huge, HUGE fan of TGI Fridays, but has never been out of the country, so i'd love to take him to a Fridays in America, and show him how the restaurant should be compared to our watered down UK version.
My question is, how to get to the one at Crossraods? Is it possible to bus it to Downtown Disney, and then walk to Crossroads, if that is even possible? If not, is a taxi the best bet?

It's been a while since I've been to the Crossroads shopping center while on vacation. However, I think that it would be too long of a walk to get there from Downtown Disney. In addition, you have to cross a major intersection to get over there and it might be dangerous.

My advice would be to take a cab from Pop Century. It would be faster and safer. Have a great trip!!:wave:

Heres what i would do. 2 different opitions

1. Take a bus from Pop to DTD and walk to crossroads, its about maybe 1 half miles maybe a little more but it would be a nice walk. Just think on the way back you could walk off what you just ate at Friday's, cause you know you are going to want Dessert.

2. Take bus from Pop to DTD and then take a cab. Why pay for a service (disney transport) when you already get free transportation while staying at the parks. The Cab fare will so much cheaper that way. The when you get to Fridays ask the cab driver number which for Myers is if i remember correctly is 1 (407) 422-2222. Its the only cab company on disney property taxi stands.

You never know i could be your bud driver from Pop to DTD. I find out Monday if i will be a bus driver for the best place in the world.

I would definitely go with this option as it would be less costly. Walking is highly overrated (especially if it is warm out) and while you might not mind walking there, you might not want to walk back.
